Nima joined Poswa Inc., as a Director in April 2010 to initiate and lead the company’s conveyancing and notarial practice department. From inception Nima was actively involved in managing and controlling the operational efficiencies of the company. In 2011 Nima was instrumental in obtaining the Bronze top supporting source of business award, from ABSA home loans, in the Gauteng region for Poswa Inc.

In 2016 under Nima’s leadership the firm was instrumental in receiving a certificate of achievement award in recognition of 1st place top performer ABSA home loans panel attorney in the Gauteng region. Following the successful management and expansion of the conveyancing and notarial practice department as well as the successful fulfilment of financial and operational initiatives in the company over the last 8 years, Nima was subsequently appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in April 2017. Nima is responsible for the executive leadership and operational management of Poswa Inc across its national footprint serving its offices in Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein. As the firm’s CEO Nima is tasked with the strategic, operational, financial and administrative success of the firm. Her vision is to accelerate the company’s growth as the leading level 1 B-BBEE corporate and commercial law firm specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions and Banking & Finance. Nima’s entrepreneurial flare and appetite for business has proved beneficial for the company’s growth path and continued success.

Experience

Nima is a seasoned Attorney and Conveyancer of the High court with more than 15 years post admission experience. Nima commenced her legal career by serving her articles of clerkship at Gildenhuys Van Der Merwe Inc. (now Gildenhuys Malatji) in Pretoria, where she gained exposure to personal injury claims related litigation, insurance law and commercial law. Post admission Nima worked as an Associate at Bhadrish Daya Attorneys from 2003 until 2005, where she specialised in various spheres of law ranging from general civil litigation, criminal litigation, third party litigation, family law and the administration of deceased estates. To pursue her interest in property law Nima wrote the conveyancing exam and was duly admitted as a Conveyancer in October of 2004.

To develop and enhance her career and skills in the area of conveyancing Nima joined EY Stuart Attorneys in Pretoria in 2005, as a Conveyancer. Nima succeeded in becoming a Director at EY Stuart Attorneys in 2006 and practiced primarily in the area of conveyancing and notarial practice. In April 2010 Nima joined Poswa Inc as a Director.
